About Us

William A. Ingram was born in Omaha, Nebraska, while his father was completing his medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Ingram grew up in Oakland, California where his father was a pediatrician. He earned his Eagle Scout award in the Boy Scouts of America.
Dr. Ingram returned to the Midwest for college and graduated with a major in Chemistry from Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska. He graduated from the University of the Health Sciences, Chicago Medical School. He completed his first year of general surgery at Letterman Army Medical Center in the Presidio of San Francisco. He completed a second year of general surgery at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado. He then completed an otolaryngology/head and neck residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Affiliated Hospitals.
Dr. Ingram served as a field surgeon and Chief of Otolaryngology at the 121st General Hospital in Seoul, Korea and then at Irwin Army Community Hospital at Fort Riley Kansas. Dr. Ingram served on the faculty of the University of Nebraska Medical Center for nine years, where he was the Director of the Allergy Division in the Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Ingram is board certified in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.

Barbara Holmes, Nurse Practitioner
Barbara Holmes was born in Omaha Nebraska and grew up in Council Bluffs, Iowa with her parents and three brothers.
In 1996, Barbara graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She has experience in Allergy and Immunology, Medical Surgical Pediatrics, Family Medicine, and Cardiac Nursing. In 2003 Barbara began working with Dr. Ingram in Otolaryngic (ENT) Allergy. She completed the Basic Otolaryngic Allergy Course that year, and the Advanced Course in Allergy and Immunology in 2007. In 2009, she attended the American College for Advancement in Medicine’s Hormone Seminar.
Barbara returned to Clarkson College in 2008 to earn her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed the program in August 2012. She received the Clarkson College Alumni Association Award for her research on Education on Probiotics and Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Its Effects on Quality of Life. Barbara is fully certified, credentialed, and is accepting new patients. Her clinical interests include Otolaryngic Allergy, Migraines, and Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy.
Megan Ingram, BA, Front Office Coordinator
Megan Ingram received her Bachelor of Arts degree in both Music and Theatre from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. She returned to Omaha in 2014 and recently began working for the practice. Megan has honed her administrative skills in a variety of clinical and non-clinical settings. Additionally, she has several years’ experience in customer service. She is delighted to be part of the practice and is enjoying getting to know Dr. Ingram’s patients. After hours, you might just find her on stage in one of Omaha’s wonderful community theaters.

Rachel A. Ziebarth, RN, BSN
Rachel is a 2014 graduate from UNMC’s nursing program. She attended the Northern Division campus in Norfolk, Nebraska. Rachel graduated with high distinction and was active in The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International and the Student Nurses Association. She began her nursing career in Norfolk at a clinic that specialized in diabetes and alternative wellness. Recently, Rachel and her 9-year old son moved to Omaha to pursue her educational goal--a doctorate in nursing practice. Rachel recently joined Dr. Ingram’s team and is excited to work alongside him and his staff promoting health and wellness for their patients.

Rae Smith, Licensed Practical Nurse
Rae Smith is a transplant to Nebraska from Texas (late 2003) and has a background in payroll accounting. Rae graduated from The College of St. Mary in 2007 and began her nursing career under Dr. Ingram at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She ventured out to gain additional nursing experience in neurology and family practice. She recently returning to Dr. Ingram and the field she loves, ENT Allergy and Immunotherapy. Rae has a beautiful daughter, a student at Texas A & M, and a Doberman “doggie daughter.” She recently married Clark "the last of the best" and gained a beautiful step-daughter, as well! In her spare time, Rae volunteers for Good Dog Rescue helping foster, rehabilitate, and find forever homes for Dobermans in Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, and surrounding states. Tyna Turner, Medical Assistant
Tyna Turner graduated from Gateway Community College in 1996. She has been with Dr. Ingram since 2004. She has four years of experience in Family Practice and eight years in Medical Allergy, as well. She keeps busy preparing the allergy serum for Dr. Ingram’s patients. Tyna is currently attending Metropolitan Community College and is working toward a degree in Nursing. She is married and has three beautiful daughters.

Lois Kendall (Part-time, Front Office)
Lois joined Dr. Ingram’s team in 2013. She moved to Omaha in 1979 from Sioux City, Iowa. She is married and has six children, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Although Lois officially retired, she welcomed the opportunity to work part-time for Dr. Ingram. She is also very active in her home church, Calvary Chapel, where she answers calls and leads a weekly Bible study. She has enjoyed interacting with Dr. Ingram’s patients and loves working with the staff.
